About
I have been baking since I was little, but my journey to Rachel Bakes Cakes began when I was searching for a continuous volunteer opportunity. In June of 2023, I stumbled across an organization called For Goodness Cakes®, looking for members to join the 'Sprinkle Squad'. As I read more about the organization, the more excited I became. I signed up that day and officially became a Sprinkler. My first few bakes were so fun, creating a magical cake or cupcakes for a child in need made me feel so happy. Since then, my passion has grown and so has my small business. My social media journey documenting my donation cakes/cupcakes led more people to start requesting custom cakes and I officially became a licensed cottage baker. I truly love creating cakes and bakes to make people happy!

When I am not in the kitchen, I am spending time with my husband of 10 years, two daughters (ages 6 & 3) and kitty cat, Armani. We love to spend time outside and visit family cabins on lakes up north in the summer. In the winter, we find adventures inside and do lots of crafts together.

For Goodness Cakes
For Goodness Cakes® is a nonprofit organization that matches volunteers to make and hand-deliver birthday & graduation cakes to children in foster care and youth overcoming adversity on their special day.

As of September 30, 2024, there are 29 Chapters,
and the magical Sprinkle Squad is made up of 8,500+ volunteers and with the help of 800+ partner agencies, 34,390+ Cakes have been delivered!!
